*Interested seniors will be participating in the College Application Month activities on October 14. On this day, they can register for college. The Bank of North Dakota will cover the application fee to one North Dakota College.

*The rain didn’t stop our XC runners this past Saturday! Several of our runners PR’d and we had 3 make the all-region team: Congratulations to: Maycie (4th place), Tristan (16th place), and Lance (20th place). *The boys placed 6th as a team!
On to state at Jamestown in 2 weeks!

“Future Royals” update (and some other info), please help spread the word:
Tonight the varsity football team takes on WGN at home starting at 7:00.
Tonight is also the Future Royals night for football and cheerleading! All kids who are participating should meet at 6:15 (cheerleaders in front of the bleachers and football players at the west end zone). This event will run from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
Tonight is also the night that one lucky person will be drawn to have a chance to kick a field goal and win some cash for themselves and our school! You can register at the ticket booth as you enter the game or at the concession stand after the game starts. If you make the field goal, you get $200 and our school gets $1000. You can also choose to have someone else kick it for you and split the $200.
Just a reminder that tonight is "Future Royals" fun night! Come out and cheer on your Royals + get a glimpse of what the future holds. The future is bright!

The XC team competed in Rugby today. This meet is always a big meet with lots of competition. 127 runners competed in girls varsity and 146 in boys. We had 4 runners place in the top 50: Maycie Talbott (10th), Tristan Dobson (27th), Lance Pitner (39th), and Brayden Francis (47th). It’s been a fun season watching these runners improve and crush their goals. Next up is regionals next Saturday in Bismarck.
Gage Yellowbird and Jaime Danks have been selected as one of the "Top 3 Finalists" in the nation for their FFA Agriscience Project in the division of Social Sciences! Congratulations! They will find out if they are national winners at the National FFA Convention at the end of October.
