*There will be a Financial Aid/Curriculum meeting for high school students and their parents on Tuesday, November 29th at 7:00 PM in the health room. Following the informational meeting, there will be time to ask questions about filling out the FAFSA.
*The Max chapter of the National Honor Society will meet Friday, December 2nd in the Greenhouse Headroom during lunch.
*December 16th last day to preorder the 2022-23 yearbook for $25. Price will go up to $35 after Christmas break!

Students participated in the McLean County Sr High Math Meet today and represented Max very well. The 9-10th grade team of Delaney Hankel, Dalen Ruhland, Mason Smith, Hattie Heer, Tate Heer, and Jaeda Wohlk took 2nd Place Overall.

*This week is Red Ribbon and American Education Week. "Cossacks Celebrate Life with Healthy Choices!" Today's dress up day is Country/Camo Day. Tomorrow is Famous in a Small Town Day. We will be doing a Thankfulness Challenge. After announcements we will write down what we are thankful for and add it to our Thankfulness Wall. We will also be having an Unplugged Challenge. Students who turn their phones into their first hour teacher and leave it with them for the day will receive a Cossack PRIDE certificate. If they do it all week, they will earn bonus certificates. Finally, be on the lookout for the Red Ribbons hidden throughout the hallways. If you find one, take it to Mrs. Kersten and claim your prize!
*Today: 6:00pm Basketball: Girls JH Game South Prairie/Max vs. Garrison @ Garrison High School One game. Pickup in Max at 4:45.
* Elementary 4C will meet Thursday, November 17 during recess in the library.
*Today: The regional one-act performance has been postponed to today (Monday), in Kenmare. The performance is at 11:00 am - leave Max at 8:00 am, with a return time around 3:00 pm. Kenmare has limited space, so the performance will not be open to spectators.
*Max FFA mtg on Tues., Nov. 15 @ 7pm.Officer mtg. @ 6:30pm.Recreation:Hayride-winter coats, hats, & gloves will be required to load the bus.

9-12 GBB practice starts tomorrow morning at 7:00 am @ SP. The bus will leave Max at 6:30 sharp. Please check the app for upcoming practices and leave times.
Volleyball update! The games scheduled for today have been moved to tomorrow. SP-Max will play at 1:30 vs Bishop Ryan with the championship game to follow. Doors open at 12:30. The bus will leave Max at 11:50.
