🌬️❄️ Hello Cossack Families! ❄️🌬️ As the temperature starts to drop, it's essential that our little Cossack stars are dressed appropriately for the chilly weather. Keeping our students warm and comfortable is a top priority. Here are a few reminders to ensure they are well-prepared for the changing seasons: 🧥 Layers, Layers, Layers: Encourage your child to dress in layers. It's easier to stay warm when you can add or remove clothing as needed. A good rule of thumb is three layers: a moisture-wicking base layer, an insulating middle layer, and a waterproof and windproof outer layer. 🧣 Don't Forget Accessories: Hats, scarves, gloves, and warm socks can make a significant difference in keeping your child cozy. Ensure that they have these items in their bags or lockers. 👢 Sturdy Footwear: Wet and cold feet can make for a miserable day. Make sure your child has waterproof and warm footwear to protect against the elements. 🌂 Rainy Days: Be prepared for those rainy days as well. A waterproof jacket and umbrella can be a lifesaver when it's wet outside. 🎒 Label Everything: With the weather changes, students are more likely to misplace items. Please label your child's clothing, so if they do misplace something, it can find its way back to them. 🚌 Bus Stop Safety: If your child takes the bus, please remind them to wait in a safe, sheltered area and be visible to the driver. This weekend ten 5th and 6th Max Music students represented our school in the 2023 Surround the State in Sound Honor Choir. They joined 75 other kids from across the region and worked with a distinguished clinician throughout the day before performing a concert of storm related songs. 🎶 ⛈ ☔️ 🌈 🎶
