Karl Behm got 1st in Impromptu to State Qualify and 4th in Poetry. It was HIS day! With his wins, he also earned his fourth and final leg for the ND Speech and Drama 🎭 ALL-State Team. He joins his teammates Skylar Beck, Natalee Becker, Gracie Rauschenberger, Josh Lindbo, Maddie Hogue, and Emma Marten for this honor. Other results from Hazen: Brylee Beeter got 6th in Poetry and 3rd in inform. Natalee Becker got 3rd in Entertain. Maddie Hogue got 4th in humorous Interp. Maddie and Natalee got 3rd In humorous duo. Caylen Rohrbeck got 7th in Storytelling. Their next meet is April 6th at home in South Prairie. The top 2-4, (depending on the number of speakers in each event) qualify for state at Regionals, so this makes it an important meet! There are plans in the making for a Speech Showcase before State Speech where our speakers will perform their pieces for our community. Look for that date soon!
