*Scholastic Book Fair this week: March 11th-14th at the Max School Library(online March 8th-15th)
*Cossack Popcorn Day ($2.00) will be on Thursday, March 14th. Orders are due before the start of the day (8:30AM) on Wednesday, March 13th *All proceeds will be donated to Isaac Louis's family for medical expenses.
*Eligibility will be run on Thursday at noon due to the short week.
*March 14th Parent-Teacher Conference
*March 15th NO SCHOOL
*Hat Day will be this Thursday March 14th. $1.00 to wear a hat. All proceeds go to Isaac Louis’s family for medical expenses. Elementary students pay you teacher and high school students bring your money to the office.
*Softball apparel orders are due before midnight March 21st.
*Baseball gear orders close on March 19th.
*Summer drivers ed Class will be offered at Max School June 24-June 28. Interested students please sign-up in the office.

The Max-South Prairie Speech Team competed today at the Glenburn Invite. Natalee Becker got 1st in Informative Speech and State Qualified for the Class B State Tournament in Mandan in April! Congrats Natalee!
Emma Marten placed 2nd in EPR and Elias Jimenez placed 9th in EPR.
Emma Marten and Skylar Beck placed 3rd in Serious Duo.
Maddie Hogue and Natalee Becker placed 3rd in Humorous Duo.
Emma Marten was 4th in Poetry.
Karl Behm was 4th in Impromptu.
Skylar Beck placed 5th in Impromptu and 6th in Serious Prose.
Maddie Hogue was 5th in Humorous Interp.
Natalee Becker was 6th in her Entertain and 8th in Humorous Interp.
Calen Rohrbach placed 6th in Impromptu.
Emma Marten was also 7th in Dramatic.
Both Natalee Becker and Emma Marten earned the last leg of All State so are members of the ND Speech and Theater 🎭 All State Team! Congrats ladies!
The next speech meet for our speakers is March 23rd in Max: Our Home Meet!
The Max Music department had a full week of music performances!
On Wednesday our 7-12 Band & Choir performed for judges at our regional large group contest at MSU.
Last Saturday our 5-8 music students participated in the Washburn Music Festival performing their solos and ensembles for judges to critique.
Truly a fine young group of musicians!

Max School will be two hours late tomorrow March 4 with buses running two hours late and there will be no breakfast. Currently our phone alert system is not working please spread word.

It's GAME DAY! Today, our South Prairie-Max girl's basketball team will make school history by playing in their first-ever state tournament. They play Shiloh tonight at 8:15 at the Minot State Dome. We are incredibly proud of this team and their coaches.
Immediately following the game, there will be a hospitality room at the State Fair Center under the grandstand for the team and their fans.
And - don't forget to meet on Main Street in Max at noon today to send them off! GO ROYALS!
