The Max K-12 Spring Concert this Tuesday April 23rd at 6:30pm! 🌸🌷🌼

Monday, April 22nd is Earth Day. The Audubon Refuge Partners came to Max Elementary School to do an Earth Day project with our 3rd and 4th grade students. The students made seed balls using clay, soil, and seeds. These seed balls can be placed in dirt and watch them grow. www.fws.gov/refuge/audubon Events sponsored by Audubon Refuge Partners, Inc and Audubon National Wildlife Refuge are: May 5-13 Migratory Bird Week: Take a walk on the trail and play the migration game. June 20 Blue Goose Day: Come out to the refuge and participate in fun outdoor games. Sept. 28 Fall Festival: Take part in Public Land Day by enjoying fun fall activities on the refuge. Oct. 7-24 National Wildlife Refuge Week: Take part in the “Walk for the Wild” at the refuge. Nov. 25 Hunter’s Brunch: Opening day of upland bird hunting on the refuge. Come enjoy a free will lunch. Dec 22-Jan 1 Holiday Hike: Get outside and learn about the Christmas Traditions on a short hike at the refuge.
