Order your Homecoming gear now so you are ready for the big game! The Homecoming game will be on Friday, September 20th, vs Dunseith. Orders are due to the office by Friday, August 30th, at 3:00. GO ROYALS!

This year’s 5th grade beginning band class is ready to rock after attending the Washburn Band Camp! Mr. Starks says they are already making music to his ears! 🎶

Football (9-12) and cheer practice start on Thursday. The bus will leave Max at 6:35 am. Please make sure that physicals and fees are turned in to the office before 3:00 tomorrow (Wednesday).

Girls golf practice starts on Monday, August 5th at 8:00 am. The bus will leave Max at 7:10. Tomorrow (Thursday, August 1st) at 3:00 is the deadline to signup and for a sports physical and fee to be turned in to the office in order to participate in first practice.

The school office will be open today from 9:00 to 6:00 for anyone wanting to turn in sports physical forms and fees. Also, you will get to meet our new Business Manager, Kelli Adams! Sports physicals are necessary for all athletes in grades 4-12 playing a school sport. NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, an annual election will be held at the Max Public School for the purpose of electing two members to the Max Public School District #50 Board of Education, from Area #2 (Douglas Rural) and Area #4 (Benedict Rural) for three-year terms. Also, on the ballot is Measure #1; Publication of the Governing Body Minutes: Shall the Max Public School District #50 publish the minutes of its governing body in the official newspaper of the school district? Polls will be open at 11:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m. of that day. You must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age and have resided in the Max School District 30 days prior to the election. Bring a valid ID that lists your address that resides in the district.
