*This week is Senior Week (January 9th-16th*Today’s dress up day: Pajama Day *Tomorrow's dress up day: Hat Day *Wednesday's dress up day: Class Colors Day *Thursdays dress up day: Camo/Country Day *Friday's dress up day: Senior Day

*Each day we will be highlighting a few seniors.
*Layton Fannik is the son of Delvin and Kristi Fannik. He participated in trap shooting and FFA. Layton plans on attending North Dakota State College of Science majoring in Diesel Technology. He plans to return to the family farm and own his own diesel repair shop. Layton’s favorite memory from high school is having a helium balloon in science class. 
 
*Reine Ballesteros is the daughter of Rene and Annalissa Ballesteros. She participated in National Honor Society, Campus Journalist of the Pillars, and Learner Government Commission of Elections and Appointments. Reine plans on working as a CAN after graduation. Her favorite memory from high school is experiencing school in the united states and meeting new people. 

*Today: 5:45pm Basketball: Boys JV Game *7:15pm Basketball: Boys Varsity Game Nedrose vs. South Prairie/Max @ Max Public School. *The senior class will be recognized immediately following the JV game. 

*Max FFA meeting on Tuesday, January 13th @ 7pm in the Ag. Dept. Officer meeting at 6:30pm.

*January 20th ATTENTION PARENTS MASS COMMUNITY SCREENING FOR 3, 4, AND 5 YEAR OLD CHILDREN PLACE: Max Elementary School DATE: Tuesday, January 20, 2026 TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. NOTE: If interested please contact Max Elementary School at 679-2685, to schedule an appointment. Space is limited. The screening will include: *VISION *HEARING *DEVELOPMENTAL *SPEECH & LANGUAGE Screenings are designed to quickly look at your child's development in the areas listed above. The screening cannot provide diagnosis of a particular problem should one exist. However, the screening will provide an indication of the child's general development.

*Today’s lunch: Chicken noodle soup, breadsticks, green beans, and apples

*Tomorrow’s breakfast: Cereal/Toast

*Tomorrow’s lunch: French toast, sausage, hashbrown, fruit and yogurt bar, and juice
